WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of individuals and entities that have become interconnected because of the need to share practical experiences and look for people with the same or similar goals. We advocate positive changes in the society and take steps to bring remedy in problematic areas. We see the possibilities of growth and development in interdisciplinary cooperation, connecting people, knowledge and experience.

TO WHOM DO WE TURN?

We appeal to people who have a sincere interest in restoring and maintaining traditional values and incorporating them into the behaviour of society. Traditional values like truthfulness, honesty in negotiation and trading, family ethics and traditional marriage, respect for nature and spiritual values, respect for traditional crafts, lessons learned from history, and so on.

WHAT IS OUR AIM?

Through this website, we provide an opportunity for communication and collaboration between diverse groups of people. Thanks to you, we can observe and possibly help in solving the issues that affect our lives, share experience and get inspiration from practical examples. We have the ambition, thanks to the content of the website, to discover the direction and development of different areas of society and to encourage civil society to actively participate in the creation of the future.

Our goal is for website visitors to learn about what others are doing, what they are striving for, what they are fighting for and how successful they are. Everyone can freely decide whether to engage in individual areas of life or just follow their development. For this purpose, we provide website with opportunities to comment or an open reader’s club and event calendar.

Our goal is also to emphasise the positive aspects of our society and the moral references of important personalities. Those who are heading for moral patterns, the rediscovery of ethical boundaries and co-responsibility for the future for us and for the next generations.

The result we strive for is the formation of an alternative medium supporting projects and activities with the same or similar goal through sharing, exchanging experience, information and using specific cooperation.

OUR MISSION

We would like to connect people for the purpose of sharing and cooperating, such people who desire to push for positive changes in society and take real steps to correct problematic areas in life.

We realize that the consumer lifestyle with all the negatives it brings is for many of us totally inadequate. Our time, but also people are asking for the change, and we would like to contribute to make it happen.

WE FIND THE SOLUTION IN:

Collaboration and sharing - instead of competitive struggle

Mutual selfless help and support - instead of living at the expense, energy, and work of others

Responsibility for actions and decisions - instead of tolerating ("throwing burden on the arms of others")

Mutual control - instead of tolerance of unrighteousness

Searching for and protecting justice and wisdom - instead of defending injustice and stupidity

Active approach - instead of relying on something or someone

Understanding, forgiveness, tolerance - instead of resentment, hatred, intolerance

Protection, care, sacrifice - instead of attacking, neglecting, betrayal

Bravery, heroism - instead of fear, cowardice

Compassion and empathy - instead of heartlessness

Moderation and temperance - instead of excessive consumption

Generosity - instead of pettiness

Freedom - instead of dependence

WHAT ARE WE DIFFERENT IN?

Many current web projects are focused on business and profits. We do not expect an immediate material gain of this project and we have no other "lateral" intentions ("manipulation" to sell goods or services, gain some power, or personal benefits...), that would be incompatible with the vision, philosophy and goal of the project. We believe in its timelessness and necessity. We believe that a certain number of people will welcome this project with the relief and joy feeling that in this "crazy, chaotic and ruthless world" they are not the only ones who long for the change and are willing to make, sacrifice or invest something (whether it can be leisure time, skills, experience, energy, or financial resources, ... comfort, security).

We believe that we can jointly bring to life, as a counterbalance to this current consumerist way of being, new or already forgotten patterns of behaviour that will help lay and link the cornerstones of the construction of society whose pillars will be the above-mentioned ethical and moral values.

OUR MOTTO:

Everyone can start with changing himself/herself.

Change yourself and inspire others.

You can change yourself, but can you force someone to become better?

Supporting the whole, you also support yourself.

Let us not fight with each other but cooperate.

Cooperation, not competition.

We learn from practice, because the experienced is more than the learnt.

Let us protect nature, it is a gift.

Let us protect life, it is sacred.

Let us protect spiritual and moral values, they are a guarantee of the future.

It is time to take responsibility for our life without relying on the fact that some politician,

physician or scientist or external forces will solve everything for us.

If you point out evil, you do not participate in it, but you help others to recognize it,

but if you shut your eyes against it, it is as if you do it by yourself, too.

EXPRESSLY STATED:

p. Edmund Burke

"The only thing is necessary for the triumph of evil that good people do nothing."

Martin Niemöller

"First they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out -
Because I was not a Communist.
First they came for the Social Democrats, and I did not speak out -

Because I was not a Social Democrat.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out -

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Lev Nikolajevič Tolstoj

"We must love the truth so that we are ready to renounce everything we previously believed to be true when we get to know the higher truth"

Martin Luther King

"When the world looks back in the 20th century, it will cry. Not because it was filled with cruelty,

but because good people were silent ".

Johan Wolfgang von Goethe

"No one is so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free".
